Green Monggo is whole green mung beans (Vigna radiata), a small legume widely grown in the Philippines. Mung beans are rich in plant protein and carbohydrates, and are used as a protein ingredient in pigeon and bird feed mixes. They are also popular soaked or sprouted as a nutritious soft food for birds, and as a source of fresh mung bean sprouts.

Feeding tips: Mix with cereal grains for a balanced pigeon or bird ration, or soak and sprout before feeding. Provide clean drinking water at all times. Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container to keep the beans fresh and free from weevils and other pests.
