Trigo Red is whole red wheat grain ("trigo" is the Spanish/Filipino word for wheat). Wheat is a nutritious cereal that provides carbohydrates for energy along with some protein, and is one of the main grains in pigeon and dove mixes. It is also fed to poultry, ducks and gamefowl, either on its own as scratch grain or as part of a mixed ration.

Feeding tips: Mix with legumes such as peas and other grains to make a balanced pigeon or dove ration. Provide grit and clean drinking water at all times. Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container to keep the grain fresh and free from weevils and other pests.
